Introducing Prana Home

Prana-Home-Introduction

To Make a Dream Home

No matter how the traditional societies discovered the rules and principles behind the science of architecture and how it affects overall health and well-being of the people, the important thing is that they work!

The assumption is that clairvoyants and mystics who can see the energy body and the chakras, have imposed these guidelines to ensure the man-made buildings are working in favor of man. They have observed that forms, colors, directions, materials and symbols, all have influences in the energy body and on the chakras which in return promote or disturb physical and psychological health. Many guidelines are available today that suggest the shape, form and characteristics of various places based on their function. However, in some cases the guidelines are complicated and sometimes there appears to be controversies among different scholars and authors in introducing them. In fact over time many of the rules have been distorted or lost, many have been combined with beliefs and superstitions and some have just remained as rituals. Therefore there is a need to experiment and validate the guidelines and introduce them as science.

Being architects in profession, we are fascinated with buildings in which you feel calm, nurtured and in peace. Some call these buildings “soul-nourishing,” “life-giving” or simply “good-architecture.” These buildings are available in almost all countries, have been created with different symbols, decorations and artistic work related to different cultures and have been present in various eras. What make a building become “soul-nourishing” is that, it is in harmony with our being as a soul with various bodies and furthermore contributes to our health and evolution.

Prana Home is an attempt to help us, architects, interior designers, home lovers and even home owners to re-look into our living space; and re-define it from merely a physical place of habitation with certain mathematical standards to just fit our physical life, to a place of nourishing with qualities that fit our whole being, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

The aim is therefore to introduce practical guidelines that can be used by anyone who is interested in making their homes a suitable place for living. In this study the works of many Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra masters have been used for study, validation and experiment. The Pranic Feng Shui workshop of Master Choa Kok Sui, a well-known energy master who is the founder of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga, has been our motto and background to understand the concepts of Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra from an energetic point of view. However, based on copyright laws, the Pranic Feng Shui teachings will not be discussed in this project.
