To answer the above questions, there must be a certain degree of Soul Realization. Achieving Oneness is all about this.

Soul realization is in fact a complex statement since there are basically different stages of soul realization. In summary the stages of soul realization can be categorized as followed:

• Intellectual understanding that one is the soul, not the body.
• Experiencing one’s self as the soul during meditation.
• Experience of the incarnated soul (that is you) having union with the higher soul.
• Experiencing oneness with the divine spark or paramatma.

When the fourth level of soul realization is achieved, the yogi can literally say that “I and my father are one!”

However, reaching that level is not that simple and requires years of meditation, purification and character building.
