Do we really waste?! In one general look, the answer might be no. But if we look at our daily life with a greater detail, we notice many cases where we could save more. The more we save, the more we can help.
Let’s start with Food! While shopping:
– Be smart. categorize what you need & make sure what you buy suites your lifestyle.
– Get exactly what you need. Remember a want is different than a need so draw a clear line between them.
While cooking at home:
– Use the food while it is fresh. Fresh food contains much more prana than food that has been there a long time.
– Try not to throw away anything.
– Cook based on your consumption.
– Be aware of the Expiration dates.
While dining:
– Order the amount you can finish. Let’s start practicing “No Waste Food” policy. If you remain hungry, you can always order more! Nothing in nature is wasted, nothing is taken for granted. Nature is in great harmony and balance. Being part of nature, we need to increase the harmony rather than wasting its resources…
