Forgiving, A Pathway to Peace!
Taught by Master Choa Kok Sui, “Forgiveness is not a matter of who is right or wrong. It is a matter of doing the right thing.”
There are many quotes in fact that emphasize on the importance of forgiving, especially as an act of compassion. Although we have heard about forgiving and forgetting a lot, not everyone practices it thoroughly. Occasionally we get angry with people because of a reason; and it appears to be a justified anger or resentment. Although we think it is justified and is therefore a right thing to do, internally we feel like burning inside.
Forgiving can help us release the anger and feel free!
“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”
Lord Buddha
So let’s take the spirit of Christmas as the birth of the Avatar of Love, Lord Christ, and forgive the people who have hurt us, with whom we are still angry. Let’s visualize them in front of us and silently say: “You are forgiven. God’s blessings and peace be with me and be with you.” Let’s not forget, “Forgiveness is Therapeutic. Forgiving Heals the Soul.” Master Choa Kok Sui
